This unique eatery masterfully celebrates a variety of mac and cheese styles, offering an inventive twist on a classic American comfort dish that is sure to satisfy every craving.

The menu at Mac Nation Cafe is a culinary journey through cheesy excellence. From the zesty Las Vegas Mac and Cheese to the hearty Colorado Mac and Cheese, each dish is thoughtfully crafted with bold, creamy cheeses and fresh ingredients. For adventurous palates, the Mac N Cheese Flight presents an exciting tasting experience featuring regional specialties like the Chicago Pizza, St. Thomas, and Colorado assortments, allowing guests to savor diverse flavors in one meal.

The BBQ lovers are well catered to with standout options like the BBQ Chicken and Bacon Mac and the generous BBQ Pulled Pork as the largest dish on offer, packed with smoky, tender meat that perfectly complements the creamy pasta base. The Burnt Ends Mac and Cheese and Carolina Mac add smoky and tangy elements, while the Mac and Cheese Seafood introduces a fresh, coastal flair. On the side, crispy Tater Tots and indulgent Chili Cheese Tots provide the perfect textural contrast.

Morning diners are also in for a treat with Mac Nation’s Mac'n Morning specials like the hearty BEC/SEC Sandwich loaded with bacon or sausage, eggs, and cheddar cheese on a fresh hoagie, and the creative Huevos MacCheros, a unique twist blending refried beans, green chili, and eggs that showcase the cafe’s Southwestern influence.

For those seeking lighter fare, the Healthy Mac'n selection features fresh salads such as House and Caesar, and protein-rich options like Tuna or Egg Salad, rounded off with creamy Greek yogurt or simple yogurt bowls.

Mac Nation also serves up homemade soups, including the ever-popular Colorado Native Pork Green Chili, which delivers a warming kick thanks to the local lager brewed in Golden, Colorado.

The atmosphere mirrors the relaxed mountain vibe of Indian Hills, with spacious seating options both indoors and outdoors. Guests appreciate the laid-back ordering process via QR code, which allows them to relax and savor the food in multiple charming spots around the property. The friendly and attentive staff add a warm, personal touch, making every visit feel welcoming and comfortable.

I ordered the bbq ribs Mac&cheese. The dish was ok. For my taste I wish it was not too salty. I could tell that it had a lot of sodium. The Mac & cheese was great! The wait was 40 minutes on a weekend. I would come back to try new flavors of Mac&cheese! My kids loved it tho

There is no real service at Mac Nation. You order from a QR code. The Mac and Cheese is what we came for. And it was very good. While we dined in- we saw numerous people leaving with to- go bags. It’s good food but not fast food. We sat upstairs outside and it added to our experience. Walking around there seems to be plenty of seating in different places through the property. There are plenty of GF options for most of the pasta dishes.

Definitely has a very relaxed mountain town feel. Absolutely enjoyed my Mac and Cheese. Totally worth the wait! I was just out for a drive on a beautiful day in the mountains and remembered seeing some others mentioning it online so I had to make a quick stop here. This place is very popular so be prepared to have a wait.

Mac Nation serves up some of the best mac & cheese you’ll find anywhere. The flavor is always on point, the cheese is rich and generous, and the portions are more than satisfying. You can tell every bowl is made with care—and a lot of love. The atmosphere is just as great as the food. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and Angelic stands out as one of the kindest people you’ll meet. Every visit feels like stopping by a friend’s house—comfortable, warm, and inviting. If you’re deciding what to try, go for the Bacon Chicken Ranch Mac & Cheese Bowl—also called The Michigan. It’s a perfect mix of creamy and savory. Definitely recommend this spot. Mac Nation Cafe gets it right every time!

After a day of play, our guide mentioned Mac Nation. Oh, yes. This is the place for all things mac and cheese. The restaurant is multiple levels set in the canyon with eccentric decor. Order at the counter and they will bring the food to you. Instead of flights of wine or whiskey - they have the MAC. We loved the Colorado, Sacramento and New Orleans. Great food, great spot - we will be back! (PS they have Mac to Bake at Home too!)

Found this place by accident. I am not a huge fan of mac n cheese, but loved having the option for the flight. It was great! Gave us the opportunity to try different flavors and it was sooo good. Glad we stopped. Service was great and atmosphere was unique.
